Picture 9: This picture depicts a scene of students in lab coats huddling around a petri-dish, conducting a Science experiment. These students in lab coats are dressed this way, as the lab coats would protect them from any harmful substances present in the science lab. I think that by the way they are huddling close together, peering at the experiment intently, they are very enthusiastic about the activity. I think that after the activity, the students would record down their observations and clean up their experiments.
1. Biology and English.
-I would like to continue studying Biology and English as I have a passion for these subjects. Afterall, a little passion goes a long way where study is concerned, as it gives most people the drive to want to learn.
-I think that everyone should go to university because it acts as a turning point in your life where you can choose to pursue the subjects which you love as a career. Furthermore, most of the people in the working society today are graduates. Therefore, this shows that, going to university is not so difficult after all.
2. Science is an important subject because it teaches us about life essentially and how things around us operate.
-In my opinion, young children would be more interested in seeing the results of an experiment than hearing a lecturer tell them facts by words. Therefore, I would encourage young children to take an interest in science by hosting experiments that are easy to understand and whose results are obvious so as to motivate the children to find out the answer for themselves thus developing their interest in science.
- I acknowledge that scientists in the past such as Albert Einstein, were mostly male. However, times have changed. Therefore, I disagree with the view that boys make scientists than girls because now girls are also granted an equal opportunity for exposure to science. Therefore, there’s an equal chance of a girl succeeding in being a better scientist as compared to the boys.
